This Privacy Policy explains how EventPOV ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information collected from users of the EventPOV website and services. By using our site and services you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

EventPOV integrates with Google Drive to store event media. When an event owner connects their Google account we request the permissions necessary to create folders and upload files. Access tokens and refresh tokens are used to perform these actions; refresh tokens are stored encrypted in the database and are used only for authorized Drive operations for that event. We never share your Google credentials.
Media uploaded to an event is visible to people who have access to that event (guests, co‑hosts) and can be made publicly shareable by the event owner. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of EventPOV, our users, or others.
We use cookies, session storage, and similar technologies to provide and personalize our site, and to enable essential functionality (for example user sessions). You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.
We retain personal data and uploaded media for as long as it is needed to provide the service, to comply with legal obligations, or as requested by the event owner. Event owners can disconnect their Google Drive connection; disconnecting does not automatically delete media stored in Google Drive — that is controlled by the Drive account owner.
We take reasonable measures to protect data, including using secure storage practices and limiting access. However, no internet service is completely secure; please take care when uploading sensitive content.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the address below. Event owners control the media uploaded to their events and should manage or delete those files from their connected Google Drive as needed.
Our services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us to request removal.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are made we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes may be communicated by email to registered users or by notices on the site.
